Is the VBSPU B.Tech Sem 1 & 2 syllabus same for all branches?

Yes! All B.Tech branches (CSE, IT, EE, ECE, EI, Mechanical) have the exact same
set of subjects in the first year. The difference is that subjects like PPS,
Basic Electrical, and AI appear in Semester 1 for EE/ECE/EI students,
but in Semester 2 for CSE/IT students. So only the semester order is
swapped — not the subjects themselves. Always cross-check with your
official timetable.
Which is the latest VBSPU B.Tech Syllabus — 2024 or 2025?

The 2025 syllabus is the latest revision, applicable to students
admitted in the 2025–26 academic year. Students from the 2024 batch
should follow the 2024 syllabus. Both versions are available
