Is VBSPU B.Tech Sem 1 & 2 syllabus same for AI&ML, Data Science and IoT?+
Yes! All B.Tech branches including AI&ML, Data Science and IoT have the exact same set of
subjects in the first year. The only difference is the semester order — subjects like PPS,
Basic Electrical, and AI appear in Semester 1 for EE/ECE/EI students, but in Semester 2 for
CSE/IT/AI&ML/DS/IoT students. Always cross-check with your official timetable.
Is Semester 3 the same for AI&ML, Data Science and IoT branches?+
Yes, Semester 3 is identical for IT, CSE, AI&ML, Data Science and IoT — there is no
branch-wise difference until Semester 4, when specialization subjects begin.
What is the difference between AI&ML, Data Science and IoT branches?+
AI&ML focuses on machine learning, automation and intelligent systems. Data Science
focuses on data analysis, statistics, big data and analytics. IoT focuses on embedded
systems, sensors, networking hardware and connected devices.
